Juventus have told eight first-team players, including Federico Chiesa and Wojciech Szczesny, to leave the club, according to Daily Mail.
New head coach Thiago Motta is spearheading a rigorous squad overhaul as he seeks to revitalise a team that has struggled both on and off the pitch in recent seasons.
Juventus have failed to win the Serie A title for the past four seasons, having previously secured it for nine consecutive campaigns. Massimiliano Allegri was replaced by Motta at the beginning of the summer.
Chiesa is among the eight players Juventus are keen to offload during the open transfer window, as the club aims to raise funds to invest in new recruits, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Former Arsenal and long-term Juventus goalkeeper Szczesny will be replaced by a new shot-stopper and is set to join two other former Premier League players who look likely to depart Turin.
Ex-Leeds midfielder Weston McKennie and former Liverpool loanee Arthur Melo are also being advised to seek new clubs.
Juventus are also looking to secure permanent exits for Arkadiusz Milik, Mattia De Sciglio, Daniele Rugani, Arthur Melo, Filip Kostic, and Hans Nicolussi-Caviglia.
"They are out of the project and they have to find new club", said Motta.
"We are convinced this is the best decision possible", he added as Juventus marked themselves open to do business with other clubs.
Chiesa is arguably the most high-profile player on the list to be told his career at the Old Lady is over, given he was previously a poster boy for the team when he burst onto the scene of Italian football.
The 26-year-old's signing was hailed by Juventus fans when he joined from Fiorentina four-years ago, but has endured a frustrating time at the club that has largely been affected by injuries.
Juventus are determined to sell him this summer rather than lose him on a free transfer next year when his contract runs out.
